Could be in one of their AI package scripts or something too..

 

Also you will probably have to remove it from in-game inventory at least once, via script. Removing it from the character record won't affect a save that already has that character record in it..

Try this plugin. *should* do everything you need even with savegames.

 

It doesn't touch her character record, just the script (removes the equipitem), and has a run-once quest script to remove it from her inventory.

I did not see any add item lines in the script's regarding companion weapons. I did remove them from the inventory for both cass and veronica. It's just not making sense to me. once my disk is finished defraging i'm going to take my frustration out on the geck
