@skarrd I just tried the mod before you created the devious add-on. the version of the mod that wasn't separated that one is working correctly and the traits are showing up. The Patreon file from -

They don't appear during the typical Sim CAS creation screen but they do show up when I shift click on a sim and go to  "Add Trait"

If it's the patreon version the instructions for that are on Patreon. If it's the public version it's still CAS.

Then they are not CAS. They are added through the dialog options explained on the download post.

If yours is patreon the traits are added through an dialog interaction instead of cas. It also says this on one of the patreon posts. This one - https://www.patreon.com/posts/skarrds-traits-1-78133587

 

If you're using the public version it should still be through cas to put the traits on.

Yeah, that's only if you're using the Patreon version of the mod.

 

It would be interactions like this. The trait gets applied from using one of those interactions. Remember, this is for the Patreon version only. The public version is still in cas.

I'll check mine later and if I figure out where to get those dialogue options, I'll do a video showing it.  It should be in there though.

I know this might sound contradictory to how your mod works but is it possible for sims that are sexually awkward to feel only comfortable with their partner and if others try to flirt with them, they become creeped out or angry. The only reason I ask is because I don't want my sims to have to rely on alcohol to be with their boyfriend/girlfriend.

I'm so confused with this mod. 
I have the Patreon version with the Devious addon.
Four files in total installed for Skarrd.

 

I tried with sexually award and without for female sim.

I made sure male sim has Pervert.

 

I see options to spike the drinks which seem to work.

When recommending her to have another drink she doesn't go get one.

I never see any options of taking pictures of her in order to blackmail her.

 

No options of groping or anything of the sort.

 

All I see are spike her drinks, say you want to get her drunk, and at some point recommend she drink some more. There is also the comment on the way she is dressed or the way she is dancing. I don't see anything aggressive though like groping, picture taking, blackmail, or that sort of thing.

 

I think one small issue I see is that another sim cannot make a drink for teens. Only the teen themselves can ask for a drink.

 I also had the same issue. I had to manually Tell her to go over and get the drink myself.

No Sims can make drinks for your teens. I always have my teen sims working the bar to make drinks for the other teen sims. lol

 

So you have one teen SIM, make a drink and then once it's made, have the other teen SIM drink it. I believe there's even an option for the teen SIM working at the bar to make drinks for them as well.

And regarding the camera thing and blackmailing part of the mod I have not tried yet.

All right, so I just checked in my game to get those interactions Control one SIM and click on another sim and go to the Friendly tab

Then, once you're in the Friendly tab, click more choices and you should get these options

I'm not sure if these interactions will show up with just clicking on the one SIM and checking in friendly. That's one thing I did not check in-game, if you can let me know.

As if the friendly section isn't bloated enough already. This should really be something for the rewards store or better yet WW attributes menu, or worst case shift click menu.

Yeah I agree with you on that it probably would be better in the reward store or it just going back to being a cas trait. As for the wicked attribute menu from what I've seen from some creators that's kind of tricky to put that in there.

I have not yet implemented relationship stages for the traits. So they are sexually awkward/ uptight no matter the stage of the relationship. But that is in the plans.

Autonomous actions are not a 100% I've been fine tuning it but the sims are attracted and motivated by a lot of factors. Whats intended, is for your character to bar tend and the NPC will drink the drink that's available. They wont go to the bar themselves and make it. If you want the NPC to drink another drink, make sure there is one for them to drink.

Regarding the groping and fondling, those are base game actions. Hugs, embraces, kisses or tickles on the sofa (for example) all give buffs that are very different depending on which trait the sim has.

The photo bribe opportunity comes after you , have a camera, get a sim drunk, get them undressed and then take the picture. That's when you'll be informed that you have acquired a "compromising photo". From there you choose what you want to do.

And I am working on underage drinking where adults will be able to serve teens now.

Also, the CAS version seems to freak everyone out because it eats up a personality spot, so this was the compromise. You should be able to use cheat mods to add the traits. And the dialogue options disappear after they are added the one time and will only appear if talking to a sim without either trait. Once and gone.

i mean if people are worried about the cas traits slots just use this mod - More Traits in CAS - v1j | thepancake1 and MizoreYukii on Patreon it gives you 5 slots to use for traits.

 

They could just shift click the SIM and then go to sim info/add trait And then you can literally add as many traits as you want that way as well. Hell I've had 20 traits on my SIM from Cas on them using this method. ?

Hey I was wondering have you thought about making two different versions, one through an interaction and the other cas. Kind of like what you did with the devious files That would be like an option for who wants it in Cas and who doesn't mind it through the interaction.

As much as I would, it seems to cause a lot of confusion. Confusion leads to maintenance where I'm busy asking "what version do you have" and confusion from the players. Also, having multiple versions slows development time. Y'know, I would like to offer a version that the community wanted the most and I will go with that. But maintaining multiple versions will start to suck all the fun out of this. I also have that mod that allows for many CAS traits. I was surprised by how many wanted the other version. Maybe I'll make a poll. One thing I've already learned is I won't be able to please everyone. And I'm okay with that.

Yeah, make a poll and See what people go with. If you do make a poll, I'll probably pick the cas option It seems like the easiest and most straightforward option.

Also, if any bugs ever get fixed on MC5 (the tool I'm using) I can add the shift click option to it, I also recommend any of the "add trait cheat"mods out there.
