Custom Race mod isn't working

As the title says I can't get the custom race (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8720/) to work ill put in different textures and bodies, overwriting the ones in the mod but in game the custom race look the same as the as its original race i.e. CustomNord looks the exact same as Nord. Has anyone had this problem with this mod? Im using Mod Organizer.
