follower ruru shadow /clipping?

 i was trying out this new follower [nothing new there .. ]

im always trying out any new ones that pop up 

had no problems with her since she appeared on the nexus, pretty solid follower /support 

even found it funny her companion ..orbs pull out mugs and get drunk ...little laugh at that 

 

today i went onto skyrim and continued from a save and now she has this weird shadow blob floating below her feet , looks like her hairbun only its making shadowy triangular effects /blades fly up from it and blip all over my screen, and then my fps drop a bit 

 

ive actually found this follower to be quite helpful so is there a way to fix it, ive contacted the mod author and just wondering if there is anything i can try ?

 

its hard to get a screen shot outside of it as it blips about fast , inside i grabbed two shots that isolate it
