TAKUE Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 I want to buy one but say that the first one looks better with mods. What do you recomend me?
arcticgale Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 i personally recommended the old rim. SSE have less mod because the SKSE64 isnt released yet. i have SSE too, but haven't touch it since it given for free, i'll wait about 1-2 years until more mod, more stable skse64 and unofficial patch released
Guest Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Just be aware that buying original Skyrim now will not give you (anymore) for free SSE.
davisev5225 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 If you want an extremely large, matured collection of mods available: get the original. If you want the better engine, slightly updated graphics, and are willing to wait at least a year for the modding community to start catching up: get SSE. If you don't care either way: get the original - you'll be able to instantly jump into mods if you decide down the road that you want to.
Poet Olette Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 I would say get the original for now. Much more to offer at the moment. Im so excited for when skse comes out for it and the modding community catches up a bit, I would love to move over to it with all my mods.
Arhon Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Get the original Skyrim, because right now its much better than SE. For now Skyrim Special Edition is on hiatus(well partly) until SKSE64-bit is released. Only when SKSE64-bit is released for Skyrim Special Edition it will spring to life.
Lackit8912 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 I would also recommend staying with classic Skyrim. Just make sure to watch the modding guides from Gopher and GamerPoets on you tube. They really do teach you most of the stuff a mod user needs to know to mod their game and not crash to desk.
