eroeronomi Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Do I need all three? I'm assuming that Wrye Bash does the same thing and more and is better than OBMM so I'm just wondering if I need all three, or just BOSS and Wrye Bash. And if there's any other useful tools that I should get, please do tell, I'm under the assumption that the above three are all that I need to manage/install/uninstall/sort/ and fix mod conflicts. Thanks. PS: I suck at asking questions
mrpouit Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Wrye Bash and BOSS may be enough, but it is usually a good idea to keep OBMM around: some mods are only available as omods , so you can use OBMM to convert them back to a traditional archive. (Just don't activate BSA redirection in both OBMM and Wrye Bash...)
gregathit Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 As Mrpouit correctly stated each one has its own purpose and use. You actually can function without OBMM but it is harmless to install it just in case.
