How to get insane graphics in Doom 3

So while surfing the web, I found this little piece of information which can be helpful to many who plan to visit doom 3 again.

 

I'm not writing/quoting anything here as its much more informative on the main source.

Sikkmod is amazing, has some awesome (optional) gameplay enhancements too that make it more of a survival horror than a straight horror fps.

I use monoxead's and someone else's texture pack, can't remember the guy's name, don't think it's wulfen's though as that one is rather old.

Thanks, I just fired up the Linux side of my box, want to try this pack on my Doom 3 install there.

After playing the disappointing bfg edition of Doom 3 I had to give these mods a go. Amazing stuff here and don't forget the good old flashlight mod for all weapons!
