I think you have to use Outfit Studio to remove the weight painting of the breast node on the armor but not the body beneath it, please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup you want to remove the weight painting of the breast under the armor.

 

For my own conversion I just re-painted the SP1, SP2, SP0 weights of the chest piece so that it would not distort during bounce.

 

By making the section just under the breasts uniform in color it keeps this spot right there where there are actually mesh edges >< from moving away from each other, during movement.

 

That is key to having the bouncy steel protectors without distortion.

 

 

Come to think of it....The reason why said person made the breast bounce but not the steel was likely more to do with the fact that the steel would separate at the seams if you do not adjust the spine weights like I just mentioned.

i have no clue what you just said. i'm a total noob with body slide. i have the program. i know how to bring outfit studio up but for doing anything with it not a clue. any good video tutorials out there i could look at? i haven't been able to find one for what i'm wantng to do.
