Thehunteroftruth Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Hello there! I'm opening this topic cause I would really like to know if I should be worried about my save or if there are possible fixes before it's too late. So today before quitting skyrim I save as usual but to my surprise the game CTD while in the process of saving. I had a look at the saves to check if it eventually saved and noticed that the savefile had this strange TMP extension and it's only 1 mb more or less. I read around some topics and people were saying that they couldn't save anymore after that point, no matter if the save was manual or auto. Is there something I can do or is there a chance this only occours once and never again? Thanks in advance for help ^^
Mammaluigi9433 Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Use wrye bash look at your order if any plugin is red use tes5edit and right click sort masters of that plugin and make sure to load that plugin alone double click it look under saves if it's purple ya good orange or red it's having a conflict with a mod
Uncle64 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Those saves that have TMP on them. Delete them, they are wrecked. Since they are not complete. How many saves do you have? Skyrim can mess up the save system if you have to many saves. What you can and should do. Move those saves you want to keep and place them in one safe spot. And remove all others. When you are up to it, make sure that your loadorder is correct by running LOOT and let it sort. And that before you starts to mess whit Wrye and xEdit. If you have one red box in Wrye then you are missing one master, but since you can play the game, you are not missing one master.
