Knottyboy95 Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 He guys, sorry if im posting something that is already being addressed. im kinda new to pc gaming. I bought Skyrim on Steam and it plays fine. Most of my mods appear to work, but they dont show up in MCM. I can Travel to Captured Dreams, but not buy anything, and no matter what i try, only 4 show up. they are: Skyui, Skyrim Config, Succubus Race, and XPMS. Ive tried restarting my computer, disabling and re-enabling mods, a full uninstall and reinstall, and even "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1". Nothing seems to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll attach my load order so you can see how NMM set it up. Thank you, Knottyboy95
Lodakai Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Did you run loot? it usually places alternate start at the bottom.
Knottyboy95 Posted March 30, 2017 Author Posted March 30, 2017 No, I don't have it installed. NMM seems to make sure there aren't any load order conflicts. (I use it for Fallout 4 as well.) But this has me stumped. I'll try installing LOOT and post if anything changes.
Lodakai Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 You are better off using mod organizer for modding. Currently it is easier to troubleshoot using MO. This may change in the future since nexus has hired the creator of MO to improve NMM.
Knottyboy95 Posted March 30, 2017 Author Posted March 30, 2017 i used LOOT and reordered my load order. still no change. i even cleaned the dirty plugins to remove redundant files.
Swiftstep Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Did you try it on a new save game / with a new character as well? If install all at once, it may get stuck. For that, the save cleaner might help. Hm, guessing, you tried a new char. Than there are only two causes, AFAIK: installed mod is trashed, or the installation went wrong. -> did you make sure that the file structure is in order? ESPs are on top, thats good. But are the folder in the right place, or did you maybe swap them somewhere? -> when using NMM, did you overwrite some files, like scripts, by other mods to be considered master? Something is missing, that is out of the question. Mod organizer visualizes the interaction between the mods far better than NMM. The nexus manager is (IMHO) a good fire and foget, but if something is going wrong, MO gives you the option to analyze your mistakes.
