My game uses OBSE 0020 and Pluggy v132. So when i get to a certain point in the game the game just freezes for some reason.Strangely it only occurs after 3 hours and 25 mins gameplay.Every plugin works fine till that time, after that if i try to sleep or just do nothing the game freezes. Also 1 hour ingame time before the freeze happens the saves can be loaded but if i try to load a save that's like 30 mins (ingame time) close to the freezing point that save doesn't work (black screen with only the Lovers Aphrodisiac bar and the Tamago icon showing). (I know all this sounds ridiculous but I've been trying to fix this for 2 days now, reinstalled twice and I just cant figure out how to fix this by myself) So yeah... I hope that made any sense at all. I'd appreciate the help.
gregathit Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Arx-7, 1. BOSS does not organize your lovers plugins correctly (lovers will never work with the way you have it now). If you want lovers to work you are going to need to follow the load order here: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=6133 2. You have a bashed patch and quite clearly there is nothing in it. The link to the thread I gave above shows you that most of the MBP esp files should be merged into the bashed patch and disabled. That also goes for LoversCreature_SexualOrgans.esp and LoversCreature_SexualOrgans_Dogs.esp as they are never supposed to be enabled. You merge them into the bashed patch and disable them. 3. When you do rebuild your bashed patch make sure that no other lovers files (other than the sex organs ones) are in the bashed patch or it will break their scripts. 4. Lastly, start small! Enabling every single lovers plugin is not all that wise. Install the core plugins with a very of the addon plugins and test things. Then add more plugins as you understand how lovers operates. 5. Read the OP's for each plugin that you install. Like for example have your renamed pluggy so LoversAphrodisiaHUD.esp works?

Strange since I already set this load order you linked me several times before and everything functioned properly back then except for the freezing of course. @2.: I also merged the MBP files, they worked fine partially but I merged them once before and just like then it's the same as now, the LoversCreature_SexualOrgans and LoversSexualOrgans_Dogs.esp doesn't seem to work while it's merged. @3.: I'm aware of Lovers files not working in bashed patches. @4.: I guess I'll have to resort to this if everything else fails. Activating plugins one by one... @5.:Yes, I did rename the pluggy to include HUD in it's name so the LoversAphrodisiaHUD.esp works. Also when I tried your load order just now (in New Game) I'm having CTDs using fast travel and big chunks missing from some of the cities. This is weird

I found an older version on this forum installed it and it worked(no more freezing), but I'd like to know why isn't the newer versions are working.

I wish I had found this thread earlier, but only found it after I had spent days with the same problem only to find TamagoClub.esm was to blame. To begin with, I could not even start a new game before it would freeze. Hours spent turning plugins on and off and it seem to fix its self. Problems started several hours in the game, when it would freeze and a lot of the time only a hard reset would cure it and several times it BSD'd. Doing the Grey Prince quest is where it crapped out big time! About 16 hours of game play now, with these freezes happening dayly. I used to load up an earlier save and do something else which seemed to work (upto a point!). Now, because it happened after many hours in one stint (not normal), and now every save (or so it seemed) would freeze after several seconds, I susspected overheating of the PC, but no. The CPU was cool, the twin GPU's were also cool. So many searches on the net about freezing with music still playing, involved codecs, screen drivers, etc etc but nothing worked! So many hours of turning mods off and trying again with only PK esm and Tamgoclub.esm left, the dead saves finaly worked with Tamagoclub. deactivated. I then did try earlier versons I had here, but the 254K esm just locked imediatley, and the 291K died the same way. The version that I was using was 285k, which seems to be the latest but I could not see a version number of these plugins. I did try going back to a save which was about 15 mins earlier on. It did last a lot longer, but still locked up. Then I did a search and found this posting. I will now put the latest video drivers back on, put the system back how it was and warp back over an hour and try again. Sorry for the rant, but fustration is running very high! Just checked in Wrye, and the TamgoClub version of the 291K esm is 115C requires OBSE v0020 [Codepage 1252]. , so going to try with that one. The 285K file has no version number just requires OBSE v0020 [Codepage 932]. There are many versions of this esm out there, and my last playthrough I was using the 291K version and had no issues. Hopefully, this might help others who have the same issues. OK, rant over. Sb

All versions of Tamago club require that you at minimum make a clean save (new game is preferable) before changing versions. If you run into trouble provide us with links to the different versions you are trying instead of files sizes and we might be able to figure out why you aren't working.

Problem is solved! Ran over 3 hours last night with no freezes, and everywhere that had issues before worked just fine. I will start a new game. Years of playing and modding FO3 and ESV have shown me that even clean saves can cause issues many many hours down the line, due to missing content from the removed or changed mods. The clean saves seem never to be 100% clean. I useually use the testing hall to hide in for at least six days. Not a soul around in there! It could be a software driver causing the problem. It look me days to sort out why FO3 and ESV would randomly crash and keep "dah dah dahing" out of the speakers untill rebooted. This was caused by a 32bit compatibilty briver for my Asus sound card. Worked fine for weeks then suddenly stsrted to do this. Closing the driver after boot up sorts that out. The AIO's that had the problem is Lovers with PK AIO 4.6_3 and above. The one that worked before and works again is Lovers with PK AIO 4.6. The lovers files that I use are sorted to the load order from here- http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php/409666-TES4-Lovers-with-PK-AIO-Series/page52 and have always worked perfectly. BOSS does not touch my Loversload order! Its all manually set up. There is something on my system that the later TamgoClub.esm does not like, and it might be nothing to do with ESV. The freezing problem did not show up when building up the new game. As allways, I used prvious save games to check all the normal crash areas, like fast traveling to Anvil etc, worked with the installed mods. It only happened when I started a new game, and continually after that. Part of that will be the length of playing time, and one of the last things I did was to update to the later AIO before trying to start a new game. BTW new game also starts with no freezes, unlike before. As I said, its fine now. Completed the Grey Prince quest and also the Trapped in Oblivion quest with no freezes or issues at all. Before you could only get about 75% of the way through both, and they would freeze in the same area on mutiple trys and you could go no further. Now they worked one straight after the other. One of lifes many mysteries! If I have any more issies, I'll post again but (touching wood), its all behaving perfectly again. Sb

The dude that made that AIO uses most of his own translated versions of lovers mods, while we here use our own translated versions. Meaning that what is in his AIO is not the same as the plugins found here. Some are just different translations of the same version, some are completely different versions of the plugin (example v1.0 vs v1.2c). We don't provide support for his AIO pack here, as we don't know (or care) what he has inside it. If you have future problems (hopefully you don't) you will need to get help from the hongfire site to resolve things concerning any plugins that are from his AIO. Happy Gaming, Greg

Happy Gaming, Greg [/quote'] Hi Greig. No Worries. When I came to do the new install I looked for a new AIO to replace the one I downloaded from here in the beginning of the year. Google is normally the easyist way do do that, and it led me to those files. When I found the problem was that esm, I googled it and it led me to this post. So its all Googles fault:D I know that the esm will probably work fine in 99.9% of PC's, but because PC hardware has so many variations, 0.1% will have issues. The main reason for posting was to maybe save others the fustration of those consistant freezing episodes. I have never had a mod cause so much agro, and the symption is just like one of the known Oblivion crashes. That will teach me not to use 100% LL plugins:blush: I'm running a combination of LL files and those others and they work nicely together. I imagine a lot of others do as well, like the original poster. Thanks for your answers. Most of the fun of Oblivion is the modding, but the pain is always the instability it can cause LOL. Select those plugings carefully. Off to save Cyrodiil one more time. Sb
