MajorMudd Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Hey everyone. I just purchased Skyrim & have just finished the install . Haven't ran it yet. I know nothing about this game at all. I found this and thats what got me interested in the game. This mod. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1443-rosa-round-bottom/ Can someone please direct me to a post or help me to figure out what all mods I need to install and how to run this? MadMansGun Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Hey everyone. I just purchased Skyrim & have just finished the install . Haven't ran it yet. I know nothing about this game at all. you should get this mod as well then: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71214/? but before you do anything, what version of skyrim did you install? i ask because the mods for the 32bit version are not compatible with the 64bit version.

I got it from Steam. Not sure if it is 32 or 64. How do I check to see ?
MadMansGun Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 if it's called "Special Edition" it's 64bit (so use this version http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/266 ) if it's called anything else it's 32bit (use the first one i linked)
MajorMudd Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 I'm guessing it is 32bit since it is not the Special Edition. Comparability options go from win95 to win 8 I don't think 64 goes back that far. I may be wrong.

MadMansGun Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Nope the options are 95 to 8. whatever it is your looking at, it's not the requirements list for any versions of skyrim.
flutie Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 skyrim reqirements , Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit) Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU. 4GB System RAM. 6GB free HDD space. Internet access for Steam activation. 95 was 16 bit, will not run, I AM GUESSING THIS IS A JOKE THREAD MODERATOR DELETE THIS THREAD PLEASE
fernandojdb Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Nope the options are 95 to 8. i just recommend you to spend a few hours reading some modding guides, Mod organizer.
MajorMudd Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 Skyrim requirements isn't even the topic. Someone asked if I DLed the 32 bit or 64 bit version. I was simply trying to find out how to tell which it is. Maybe you should read a thread that you can contribute to instead of trying to get it deleted . If everyone had that attitude the first gamer would still be a lonely solo gamer.

MajorMudd Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 I think I got it. Not sure really. I launch the game and it goes to 1st screen with the Bethesda logo then just crashes out to nothing. Checked Steam and its DLing an update. Just installed this lastnight but I guess today was a new update maybe. 5 hours and 22 minutes for download. Gotta love that.
apokaliptian Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Hi. What it boils down to is: do you have this game installed:http://store.steampowered.com/app/72850/ or this one: http://store.steampowered.com/app/489830/ If the first one, you are good to go, its 32bit version. If the second, you cannot use this mod, it's the 64bit ersion and the mod is 32bit. Than, you need a mod manager to manage the mods. You have two options here NMM: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/modmanager/? or MO: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/? Personally I would recommend MO. It's harder to use but much, much more usefull and elimantes the risk of ruining your game to the point of having to reinstall it, which you will inevitably encounter, trust me. There are videos on YouTube on how to set up and use MO. I'll recomand you see them and follow them. Next you check requirements for the mod you want to use. you can see them in the link you provided in the first post. Than you install those required mods and than the mod you want to use. And that's it.
