Freeze after "Alduin's Bane" Cutscene

I have a generally stable setup, but with over 200 mods including many sexlab script mods. I'm running into a problem on the main questline's "Alduin's Bane." The cutscene plays out fine, but when it ends and the screen fades to white, the game freezes up and gets stuck on a white screen. The menu and console can't be opened, and the game has to be force-closed with the task manager. It's been the same through three tries.

After googling similar issues I've tried using console commands to bypass it, but unfortunately "setstage mq206 100," which jumps you to the end of the cutscene, initiates the effect for the end of the cutscene and results in the same freeze.

(on the bright side, at least it's kind of immersive - you know, Skyrim is really cold, the game *freezes* up. maybe I should disable Frostfall. ahem)

You're not going to like my answer but I'm about 99% sure it's a conflicting plugin but there's just no way to tell which one since every plugin was created by a different person with different goals. Since you were able to recreate the problem successfully at the same exact instance, then it's very likely a plugin issue.
You'll just have to disable plugins 30-50 at a time and use the process of elimination to narrow it down. It sounds like a lot of work but it isn't too bad. I just had to do this last week and with 255 plugins it took less than 20 mins to find the bad plugin that was causing my game to crash. I have Requiem also so make sure you run all SkyProc Patchers to recreate Requiem for the Indifferent and the Dual Sheath Patch and also run FNIS before starting your Skyrim after disabling so many plugins. You don't need to run LOOT, of course, because the load order technically doesn't change.
I once found a house mod plugin that was making Blackreach pitch black. A house mod! I also found another plugin that wouldn't let me complete a Dawnguard mission to touch a glowing butterfly but I forgot which plugin that was. Also, I found an armor mod which kept crashing Requiem. It definitely works.

Second thing is to make sure you use a save cleaner if you don't already.

If you want my guess, I'm thinking it's a plugin that modifies lighting and visuals like blocksparkles.esp, mintylightningmod.esp, randomthunder.esp, explosiveboltsvisualized.esp, you get the idea. Don't quote me on this because I can totally be wrong. I still recommend the proper method for finding faulty plugins.

so I threw a couple noodles at the wall to fix it, hoping to avoid the trial-and-error plugin check, and I got it! I disabled "Deviously Enslaved" and "Deviously Helpless" in the MCM menu, and cleaned my save. Instead of freezing, the transition was just very slow. Any transition without a loading screen (like going to sleep in Solstheim and waking up at one of Miraak's pillars) had the same issue, and was fixed.

also my papyrus log in the original post is totally the wrong log, I didn't realize I'd disabled papyrus logging, so that log is really old. oops. 

anyway hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
