How to fix glassy eyes on follower?

links to some fixes^...but they seem to be fixes for using while making the follower. i've got a few followers that have that reflective eye bug, but as the end user, i'm wondering how i can fix it. anyone w/ advice? thanks

It may have to do with the cubemap being used by the eyes.

 

You could try changing the cubemap and see if that changes anything with something like this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67447/?

thanks, but that's the cubemap i use now, and most followers i have don't come w/ their own cubemaps. they just point to that one.

 

i think the issue might be w/ the eye nifs but i don't know what needs changing

Is it the invisibility eye bug?  do you get the glassy eyes after going invisible?

nope it's not invisi eye glitch. thanks tho.

no, it's a pretty common issue w/ follower mods. i've seen a few people mention it. i still haven't found a fix
