I tried to install it on a new game and a completely new skyrim folder, but it broke the appearances of several npcs. Additionally, several npcs in the hellen sequence went either bald or with purple hair. I forgot that I backed up my entire MO install along with all the mods when I reinstalled windows a while back. Yep it works fine, I've never experienced any of the issues you had.

The .esp's are in Russian but apparently you can just delete them and it works fine, or you can do as I had done and change the text bits back to English as it's just drag and dropping the text in TES5Edit.
