braknaar Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I tried to find any info on adding butt jiggle but only found HDT which is so far incompatible with SSE. Is there a way to make my character a little loose in the kaboose till then?
Akzyra Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Only way are animations, like the old stuff from before HDT: TBBP Of course you need a skeleton that works, or you CTD when (N)PC are naked. If you search for 'TBBP' you will find some old threads on LL too.
braknaar Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Thanks. The dragonfly animation has been a mainstay mod for me for years. Though I've been having my characters jiggle since almost the beginning I find the whole process a little confusing. Maybe you could help educate me on it if you don't mind. Here's what I think I know: First you need a skeleton that has the breast and butt bones. That's an easy one there seems to be one standard skeleton everyone uses and recommends. Second you need a mesh....that....has...the bones...? This is a big sticking point for me. Why do you need a specialized mesh when the skeleton you have already has the bones? I have a little experience with modelling and I don't recall a reciprocal boning between skeleton and mesh. Yet in bodyslide I see options, oh so many damned options, which do and do not include bbp and tbbp. Why would bodyslide have these options? Isn't enough to not install bbp or tbbp animations if you don't want jiggles? Thirdly the animations. Here's where I'm at my foggiest. Are the individual jiggles pre-animated as part of the walk or whatever? I always thought of them as random, movements apart from and independent locked-in animations. That they are the result purely of some sort of physics. Are you telling me that if I have the jiggle mesh and skeleton but play a dance animation or something that doesn't include jiggles my character's butt and breasts remain stiff? HDT: is that one and the same with collision? Or does HDT do something with jiggles aside from collision detection? I know that's a lot of questions. Thanks for your help!
