leddis3 Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Possibly other mods/anims are interfering with it's scripts. Chain Beasts doesn't work very well with a lot of other mods that rely on scripts. By the looks of it the character in the center there is using a modded idle animation, that might be causing problems too. Also what interface is that you're using, and can I has?

KindMan Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 No, it's a timing issue with the original script and happens on not-that-fast PCs (or if lots of scripts run during the initialization phase). Iirc there is a fixed esp linked in the comments on tesnexus.

The one who made it didn't comment on it's page for months The author regularly goes on hiatus for months on end, then releases a new version. Between 1.26 and 1.3x it was nearly 6mo.

I get captured but when the beasts take me to the chairs they just circle the marker and they don't "dock" to put me in the humiliation position. Does anyone have any ideas for fixes? EDIT: Sorry, found out what the problem is: I was on the latest version which is bugged. I need version 1.24, apparently.

gregathit Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 You need to look at the recommended load order for lovers: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=6133 You can not have any files lower in your load order than these two: LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp If you do then you risk those files breaking lovers and it not working. Next, you need to make a choice. Do you want to use lovers or F&L? You can't run two sex systems and think they won't conflict with one another. If you want to use lovers then you need to disable this: FriendsAndLovers.esp I don't know what these two plugins do: spellsxx.esp spellsx.esp If they are plugins that contain pickidles then they need to be up above lovers plugins. Also check the readme.txt to see if you were supposed to pick one or the other, or if both are ok to use together. Again, check the readme to see if these can be used together or if you were supposed to pick only one: ambreskav02.esp ambreskav02_default_anim.esp LoversCreature_SexualOrgans.esp - this can not be enabled for regular game play. You only enable it prior to importing into your bashed patch and then disable it. If you are not going to make a bashed patch then you need to not use this file. Here are some examples, this should be up at the top of your load order an not down on the bottom: Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp <--this has to be after the shivering isles esp USIPS Additional Changes.esp <---so does this. Knights.esp DLCShiveringIsles.esp Beyond this I don't know that I can help you other than to tell you to try starting a new game to test things after you correct your load order one last time. If a new game works then you can try to salvage your existing saved game.

So now onto the next bit lol To make this work as it should, I have had to downgrade Chainbeast to version 1.24 as anything above that would cause my character to be caught, bound, taken to the stocks and..... continually circle the marker I wouldn't mind this, except for the fact that until update 1.30 You were only given the summon and release spells, but I would like the Egg and bench creation spells from the most recent updtaes Any idea if I can get these spells in any way? I tried giving myself the spells through player.addspell, but apart from summon and release the other spells give an error saying it can't reference them, obviously due to the version I'm having to use.

[/quote'] You don't need to use a previous version (i.e. you can get all the features of the latest version) if you edit a line in the script of 1.30/1.32. Doing so will fix the problem causing captives to eternally circle around markers (those tiny containers near the chairs). It's easier than it sounds: 1) Open the TES Construction Set (I'm not sure if it needs to be launched in OBSE mode - no reason not to); 2) click on File/Data... on the top left of the main screen, find UChainBeast.esp in the list, set it as active and click OK; 3) click on Gameplay/Edit Scripts... and then on the window that just popped up, click on Script/Open... and open UChainBeastDockScript. 4) go to around line 116-120 or so (I'm not sure which is the correct one, I've edited a couple things in my esp so it might not be accurate to the original version); 5) one of those lines should be "set centre to getself". What you need to do is change it to "set timer to 5", so that the script periodically runs to check if the required conditions are met. The problem with the base version is that this part of the script is run only once, which for various convoluted reasons is not enough for it to work. Or I could just post my esp, although I also edited out the shoes that the captives are inexplicably made to wear; this might not be desirable to you, if you like them. Also, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post an edited esp at all... this mod is not my work after all.
