khajiitperson Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 I made a custom tail model for a playable character mod I'm working on and the tail is just kind of stiff and sticks out form my character in the game. I look at the nif file in nifskope and I think I know where the problem is but I do not know how to resolve it. Tails are supposed to have a block called BSBehaviorGraphExtraData and with the tails that animate properly the value is called "BGED [1]" but in mine the value is labeled "TailBone05 [1]". Also, in the block details, the Behavior Graph File is supposed to be "AuxBones\Tail\TailProject.hkx [2]" but mine is just "TailBone02 [2]" and I cannot figure out how to change these things. I copy the block from the working tails but it still pastes into my own file with "TailBone" in places it shouldn't be. Solution: Okay!!! I figured it out from poking around. You can just make new "string names" or whatever. I thought you could only change the number on the string index that it points to because you can only type in numbers when you double click a thing. but if you right click you get the option "edit string index" and from their you can add BGED and auxcord\tial\blahblah . Everything works now. Hope this helps anyone that has the problem in the future.
