justfansxxx Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Hi guys, noob here, I kinda watch this forum for long time, but I only dare to ask question now, well I recently begin playing skyrim after long time, u know since I think this is good time to wait until certain time fallout 4 become mod friendly like skyrim, and I astounded with so many mods out there since last i play skyrim, especially characters mod, okay enough of the intros. SO HERE ARE THE QUESTIONS! I wanted to create character skyrim that look beautiful a.k.a like MMO Asian Stuff (Desert Online anyone?) but not too much. I know there is ECE and RACE Menu and you can combine Race with ECE but i also hear ECE is kinda obsolete, and RACE Menu is kinda hard to mold your character like MMO or it isn't? Second is what body type should i use, because there are CBBE, 7Body, UNP, and lots out there, what is the best option for bounciness purpose? and are there any complementary mod out there that maximize the bounciness purpose? I hope that fellow brethren skyrim players can shed the light of my problem right now, and if i post at wrong thread please don't hestitate (or remove) to remove this post, thank you and have a nice day
valcon767 Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 ok quick synopsis of bodytypes CBBE - most boob and butt UNP - most realistic 7Base - split the difference between cbbe and unp understand the above is only a personal opinion (and only distilled down to the very most basic at that, there is a lot more to them all than that) which type of body you end up using is sooooo dependent on personal taste that no one can really make the choice for you. bodytype is the SHAPE of the physical body. textures are the LOOKS of things. the bounce available is much more dependent on your physics than on bodytype. a suggestion would be to look up the main description pages for all 3 bodytypes and read them thoroughly. think about which is the best fit for you personally, check which one has the best fit of mods to aim for your personal playing style. think about which you would rather see for a long time (this is skyrim, so if you play a lot you will SEE them for a long time while playing). after making that decision, you can then start going thru the different texture options (lots of options for all 3 are available) to find the best mods to get the desired results (looks) then work on the physics (HDT seems to be the most standard used, and is a good choice overall for most people) to get the specific bounciness you want will mean working on it after you have the physics installed and at least working to begin with. for hdt physics the bounciness is dependent on the xml files used (there are a ton of choices). then it is a matter of finding the right file (or combination of files) for your specific physics to get the desired results. hope this helps some
