nosdregamon Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 I'd like to spawn some extra NPCs in dungeons, bandit hideouts, necromancers dens and so on. Might be adventurers, prisoners, grave robbers, peasants, ... whether captured or just foolish enough to have entered the location a few minutes before you. Is there any way to do this, nesides adding a lot of spawn markers?
nosdregamon Posted February 20, 2017 Author Posted February 20, 2017 If someone seeks for something similar, I found this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67811/ This insane guy dropped a skull with an attached script into every dungeon. The skull has a script and a buttload of properties attached. The script runs once the skull is loaded (onCellAtach) and if one of it's timekeeping properties isn't that old (or the cell has been reset, I guess). Then it adds some enemies from formlists at locations chosen randomly near suitable objects found in formlists. I guess placing 200+ skulls, beats placing x "RandomNPC markers" per Dungeon. I think I'll build on this idea, if nobody has a better idea.
khumak Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 There are several mods that do that. Some that I've tried are Populated Skyrim http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5017 Organized Bandits http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4145 Sands of Time http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3093 ASIS http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18436/?
nosdregamon Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 Not 100% what I had in mind. My idea was more, "more or less neutral" NPCs, instead of just enemies. Still, these sound awesome, especially Organized Bandits. Thank you.
CrimsonOmegaLance Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 I don't think there is any mod that adds non-combat NPCs to dungeons like that.
thesteve812 Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 May not be exactly what you want, but I use these. I have come across some in dungeons. Almost killed them, thinking they were bandits. Most are on the roads or praying at shrines. I have used the jbNPCMap to move npc to caves, dungeons or homes. nosdregamon Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 These sound pretty cool. Thank you. Still thinking about adding some random NPCs, I'd like some kind of random live in dungeons

I have been looking for something that can spawn temporary non-hostile ambient NPC forever.
