[idea] Need more than money to buy a home (having to 'work' for it)

The idea:

 

What if need three things to buy a house instead of two:

1. Help the people of the hold by doing a few quests.
2. A lot of gold coins.
3. New: Show that you add value to the local economy.

The third one is especially important due to the impact of the civil war on the local economy. You can prove your worth by collecting enough 'local coins'. Such a coin is worth a few septims, but you cannot buy them freely. Normally you would just do a few jobs for the locals, but due to the civil war, not many jobs are available. Fortunate, the oldest job in the world still exist.

 

The economy behind it all:

 

You need about 100 local coins. You might be able to get a few by harvesting and mining, but it takes multiple weeks and you won't be able to get more that (let's say) 20 local coins.

 

In a bar however, you can earn those local coins a lot easier by whoring. Each time you get about 2 to 5 coins. Just ask the innkeeper for potential clients for that evening and he/she will list a few potential clients of different races (at least one man and at least one woman, although most might be male). No names, just something like "A male Nord, a female Orc and a male Woodelf". At some point, the local coins might dry up in that particular tavern (although you still get paid septims), thus you have to whore in multiple bars across the hold.

 

The benefits:

 

Each home will have a small statue / shrine that provides an unique blessing (that last a few days). Blessings like 25% resistance to cold and fire. Or 25% resistance to poisons and diseases. Or crafted weapons and enchantments are 25% stronger. Or you regenerate health/mana/stamina 25% faster.

 

Very useful blessings that can stack together, making it worthwhile to visit your home when you are in the neighborhood.

 

Reputation:

 

There is one downside from whoring in multiple taverns, you will get a reputation. Occasionally people might give you a remark. And on few occasions when you are (safe) inside a city, someone could give you a few septims to dance for them. Or tell you to remain naked for a short while. And you will have to obey.
