Hello everyone...

 

 

 

First part has been solved!

I was wondering how to assign a specific mesh to a npc such as if my default bodys where UNP, but i wanted a character to use CBBE.

 

And how to get the textures to work the same.

 

I have the files set up as a meshes(or textures) /actor/character/(name)

 

Was wondering how to assign the proper path to use in the Creation kit?

Also, i'm having a slight issue with the head mesh and the body mesh. There is a small gap between the two now that i got past my first issue. the gap in game, you can see right through and its just sloppy, messy and i don't want to release anything when it looks like that.

 

Is there something I can do to fix this? Will attach screenshot when i get a chance.

:idea: I think a very similar query to this came up somewhere else on these forums recently. In any case - it rings a bell...

 

If I recall correctly, the advised solution at the time was to create a "Custom" race for your character, & have them use a separate body type, or something like that. There may however be alternative and/or easier routes.

 

Someone with more knowledge than me (which is most of this forum's viewing audience) may like to clarify this... :huh:

I've tried that, and I didnt see any way to make a custom path to a specific mesh/texture file... unless i'm utterly blind.

 

 

Now i have an issue with The body and the neck having a small gap between them.
