ValecCorso Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Does anyone else here use the Warzones mod for FNV? I downloaded it for Skyrim and it adds a SERIOUS sense of being in the middle of a war. Just grabbed it for FNV and OH. MY. GOD. THIS is what war means! Anywhere you roam you might wander into a battlezone! There is something just plain awesome about popping over a bridge and walking into a running gunfight between a couple of dozen Legion and NCR troopers. Then the traveling merchant wandered into the fight. Then I got involved. Bodies everywhere. War. War never changes. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/40980/
gregathit Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 WarZones is most definitely a must have mod for me. Without it the game is "Way" to lame and borderline boring. Another thing I do like is that you really have to be careful about "praying and spraying" as you could kill someone you don't really want to and end up having all factions out to kill you! By the way....watch out for those damn killer kids up in Coyote Springs....they are freaking deadly!
shane4244 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Wow thanks for posting this I had never heard of this before looks cool,do you use or know if it plays well with sexout?
ValecCorso Posted June 30, 2012 Author Posted June 30, 2012 So far I haven't had any problems running with Sexout enabled, but I just started using it a few days ago and haven't really sat down and played very many hours with them both together.
PyreBorn Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Warzones for F:NV and Skyrim are both must haves for me (even if my ancient computer hates me for it) I just wish they had an equivalent for FO3. Warzones adds much needed life to the wasteland/Skyrim and I don't think I could play without them again.
ValecCorso Posted July 3, 2012 Author Posted July 3, 2012 I used it... my PC did NOT like that! LOL! It is true that WZ adds a LOT of pissed off warriors, so it can be a handful for an older pc to handle. I was lucky that when I got it, I had just finished building a brand new rig.
LifeandEd Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Warzones for NV doesn't run as well for me as the newer Skyrim edition. Maybe it's the guns. Back when I played NV on a single core, anyone firing an automatic weapon would drag my FPS down to slideshow levels. Maybe my current quad core just can't handle a dozen people + me firing guns at once. It's too bad I only tried the Skyrim version and found out how well it runs months after I concluded the civil war. The changes MGE made sound good on paper. Maybe I should get SkyRe and build a new character to experience it. I don't want to introduce a huge overhaul like that to my level capped character. Maybe warzones is the excuse I need.

[/quote'] Yea i only have a dual core with 2 GB of Ram videocard if fine BTW
ValecCorso Posted July 5, 2012 Author Posted July 5, 2012 Yeah, I would consider 4gb ram and a quad core the BARE minimum to run WZ.
deathparade Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Yea that's why iam thinking of upgrading it! just need to wait for a bank transfer so my bank doesn't look so empty afterwards!
Guest Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Hell yeah! It's an amazing mod. However, I don't recommend enabling it to new characters unless you are really good at sneaking around and avoiding danger because this mod makes New Vegas very dangerous. Danger is good though, unless it causes you to reload to your saves to often. This mod is pretty much essential for me though. It adds so much life to the game and really does make it seem like a warzone. Surprisingly I didn't get that much lag, even on my bad computer so that's another plus. God bless the guy who makes these mods!
