looking for some help with 2 face tint bugs (dark faces)

Hi all

 

My game is very nice and stable, looks nice, except 2 mods which I would like to solve, but lack the knowledge to do so.

 

1st, I have a face tint bug with Immersive Wenches http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51189/?

 

I used the Immersive Wenches mod + the KS Hair patch. The hair works great, bodies are great, meshes are great, except I get wrong tint face, usually darker then its supposed to be. 

 

Now there is a posted solution, but I don't understand it on the mod page in the FAQ section it says:

 

Q: Why do i have the ¨dark face bug¨?
A: Make sure that the correct facegen data was installed depending on what version you downloaded to their correct folders:
Skyrim/Data/Meshes/actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceGeom/Immersive Wenches.esp/
Skyrim/Data/textures/actors/Character/FaceGenData/FaceTint/Immersive Wenches.esp/
They were tested and they work.
Also be careful when changing hair patches so you dont end up using facegen data of another patch if unintalling incorrectly.

 

But, when I go to data/textures/actors/character/facegendata/facetint/Immersive Wenches.esp all I see is a bunch of numbered and not named dds files which completely don't make sense to me when I open them in paint.net

 

So my question is, which ones of these exactly and precisely do I delete and / or what exactly and precisely do I overwrite them with to correct this ?

 

 

My 2nd bug is the same but much worse with the Sassy Teen Girls mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74264/? + its body replacer from http://www.loverslab.com/topic/60707-sassy-teen-girls-followers-uunps-uunp-body-replacer/ 

 

Again I got the bodies fine, meshes are great, but the face textures are all wrong tint. And unlike the previous mod, there isn't even any SassyTeen or related subfolder under my skyrim/data/textures/actors/character/facegendata/facetint

 

I am also unfortunately not even remotely savvy enough to use anything like nifskope, CK to edit individual characters, textures, etc. Anytime I try it just always ends up in complete worst possible disaster. So I am looking for some specific instructions as to what I can or should delete ( I can make back ups and undo it of course ). Or perhaps which exact texture tints I can use from other NPCs in the game to make this work and which folders should I copy them to or overwrite. Alternatively, if there are some other patches or things I can download somewhere and install that would help address these issues, if I could get a link or at least some info to get some better google searches it'd be great.

 

Edit: I use Leyenda Body and Leyenda Skin in the rest of the game and I have tried the UNP textureBlander that comes with Bodyslide, but it had no effect. Maybe there is some otehr texture blender I am not aware of that I should try or something like that ?

Issues are solved. Just posting my solutions in case someone else finds them useful.

 

For the Immersive Wenches, I have KS Hair and Apachii Hair packs both running because both are requirements for several of my other mods (some use KS, some use Apachii) I uninstalled the KS patch for Wenches and installed Apachii patch, re-ran bodyslide, etc. and the issue disappeared, I now have beautiful wenches.

 

For the Sassy Teen Girls, somehow the facegen wasn't installed. I manually created sassyteen folder and dropped the shared + textures for the appropriate body of my choosing in there and everything is perfect.
