Oghmatorro Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Via a quest or cursed chest you find a cursed amulet of the gods. It has no positive effect. The effects consist of an exaggeration or parody of the virtue of the gods. This is about the loss of player control. Everytime it triggers, "you feel a tingling sensation around your neck". Then randomly 1-3 effects become active. These could be spells or curses or take effect immediately. Here are some examples: Akatosh – The Dragon God of Time and chief god of the pantheon You lose track of time and blackout. After x hours or even a few days you wake up. When you wake up you are somewhere else in Skyrim and lost your map (no access to map for x minutes). Arkay – God of the Cycle of Life, Death and Mortals Everytime you kill an opponent or the opponent is under 20 percent health you feel a godly presence from the dead opponent targeted at you. A random shout or (unrelenting shout, disarming shout, e.g.) is thrown at you. Dibella – Goddess of Beauty To show your beauty you feel the sudden urge to unequip/strip your armour for 3 minutes (effect similar to getstripped) Julianos – God of Wisdom and Logic Sometimes wisdom and logic is no solution and you begin to trust the gods. Interrupts sneaking, let you make noise like shouting spell casting whatever, lets you walk in traps. You throw away all the restraint keys. Kynareth – Goddess of Air The air around you refreshes you. For x minutes you only gain stamina while being naked. Wearing cloth you lose stamina slowly. Mara – Goddess of Love, the Mother Goddess. You submit to a group of non hostile npcs and spread love. When there are more than 5 npcs close to you ask them for an orgy and let them do what the like. Stendarr – God of Mercy and Justice Let there be justice. You drop your weapons and let your enemies do justice (while in combat). Talos – Hero-god of Mankind, God of Might, Honor, State, Law You honorably confess crimes you didn't comit. Guards will take care of you, the next time they find you. (Severely increase bounty, enjoy with prison overhaul) Zenithar – God of Work and Commerce, Trader God You only buy cursed items but don't know it until you use them. (Cursed potions from devious magic or mimic items from traps pitfalls etc could be used)
Bugg Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 This could prove interesting, if linked with Deviously Cursed Loot then gameplay would become even more 'interesting' than it already is. Going to keep an eye on this...
Oghmatorro Posted January 29, 2017 Author Posted January 29, 2017 Collar, amulet, ring whatever - we already have lots of devious collars :-)
Darkpig Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Collar, amulet, ring whatever - we already have lots of devious collars :-) Skyrim can never have enough collars >: D Joking aside, maybe we do need more voodoo shit. Not devious but evil god stuff. This could also be a cursed mask or something.
