Looking for suggestions

I wasn't sure the best place to post my question so I hope it's okay to put it here..

 

As of right now, I am not having big issues with CTDs (maybe once every few hours) and I am trying to keep it that way.. However, I do get large lag spikes and would like to cut down on them a bit, and maybe add a texture pack to the game that is low on resources and a bit on an improvement to the "High Res Texture Pack" ... I'm going to drop my load order down below for some feedback on ways to cut down on scripts, and hopefully in a way not  to overly kill the way I have my game set up currently. I'm wondering if there are alternatives for some of my mods that may be less script heavy, and hoping to get other suggestions on things I can to to improve my performance

 

Currently I am using Mod Organizer loaded with LOOT to organize, Tes5edit to clean mods that need it, and simply trying my best to figure out what does and doesn't get along by reading descriptions on my mods. If there are other measures I could take, please feel free to post them here as well.. I've also tried to run ENBoost as suggested by a lot of the forums, but it turns the heads of my characters to a dark shade of brown (not pretty).... My FPS stays between 40-60 for the  most part, aside from the 20-30ish I get inside of towns and highly populated areas..

I'm no expert, but...

I've read that Dual Sheath Redux is pretty hard on systems. Also, your Alternate Start - Live Another Life plugin should be much lower... with that list, I'd say right at the bottom. LOOT usually puts it down there for me automatically, no idea why it didn't for you.

Mods like Populated Skyrim can also increase script load - not a whole lot, but it might be enough to give a bit of a lag wherever lots of NPCs are added. I haven't used Immersive Patrols, but I'd be willing to bet that might do something like that too.

Alternate start usually falls to the bottom for me with LOOT also.. It's at the very bottom on the right hand side of Mod Organizer (plugins) for me right now.. I'm not sure why it isn't there on my list copied from the profile inside of the MO profile folder.. Also, I have considered ditching one or more of the population mods, just not sure which one(s).. I like having people on the paths, and it is a lot more fun to fight several bandits instead of 1-5 that I usually encounter in dungeons and forts.. I do agree that it is probably one of the biggest reasons I have for lag spikes though...
