thesapien Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Her name is spelled many ways like Yanin Vismitananda, Yanin Wisamittanan, or she is called "Jeeja", "Jija", or "Chicha". Born March 31, 1984 in Thailand, she is a martial artist turned actress. By the age of 14, she was already a Taekwondo instructor. At around age 20, she began training for 2 years in other forms of fighting and acrobatics so that she could spend another 2 years doing all of her own fighting and stunts for the film Chocolate. Chocolate is about an autistic girl who can learn to fight by what she sees, even learning from an opponent with a new style. This film has amazingly created false beliefs about her in it. One is that wires were used. Nope. No hidden wires. Two is that she is fast but too small to hurt anyone. Yet behind the scenes footage shows this to be false. I saw two cases where filming had to be stopped because she laid the other guys flat with one kick. LOL, these were stunt guys/fighters who just got hit by a girl and weren't getting back up! In one case, she made contact with a round house back kick. In the other, it was from a straight back kick after launching off of another guy's leg, one of those moves that looks cool but you would never expect to actually work! Her next film was Raging Phoenix. This is the one that really won me over. I mean, I loved her first film as one of my all time favorites in martial arts (and any genre really), but it was hard to fall for her when she was playing as a younger girl and an odd autistic one. But here she plays a woman! And not just any woman... oh, but I can't say more without spoiling the plot and what makes her unique among women in the story.

Jessica Jung Oh my, yes. K-pop has so many for me though I haven't focused in on one member of one group. Maybe that means I'm not enough of a fan. I'll get on that...
