[REQUEST] Break Panties Alternative Health Request / Help

So, I've decided to take up working on this mod: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/439-break-undies-for-skyrim/

 

The Break panties plus doesn't seem to run well, even though it has some good elements, but I prefer the lighter scripts of panda's version.

 

Okay, so essentially the logic I wish to implement goes:

- BreakableUndies Armor sets player to invulnerable

- Armor takes damage points depending on attack (like BU+)

- Once Armor is completely damaged, player is susceptible to SL defeat, or SD+ or whatever, based on % set in MCM

- Player must either risk running dangerously exposed or repair their armor

 

Before I go sifting through 10,000 threads on how to do this, I'd love some advice or pre-advice before I get started, as I am completely new to papyrus (although I do know basic C++) and some well placed advice could definitely save some major headaches (and to see if it's going to be worth the effort). I'm thinking I need to find out how to get an armor to set a player to invulnerable, then I need to figure out how to stagger damage (probably learn from BU+), then I need to figure out how to link SL Defeat and allow it to trigger based on a %, and then how to cancel that trigger with repair.. all with as little script load as possible. Suggestions duly welcome. Thanks

I think it's a great idea to have that forum, although it only has 10 followers and one thread at the moment with zero views. You needn't worry yourself with my thread, I clean my topics afterword, especially if nobody replies or only has people who offer useless directions.

Well i do this is why they invented this part of the forum section so users would not be posting these idea topic all over different part of the forum and flooding more real important once.
