Yup, im getting one of the new 750 series SSDs from intel. I want to be able to transfer my skyrim game over to the SSD as close to flawlessly as possible and i need to know which folders i need to back up on my external hard drive for the transfer. If anything just save my mods and ill reinstall them but id like it to be unchanged basically.

If you use mo just copy the folder over and it will work..

Let me tell you some, i moved my 60gb dkyrim from ssd to hdd and didnt even notice a performnnce drop. Even more, the microstutter seemd to je gone.. i dont know if theres any benefit since hdd can read with eneugh speed..

It you want move skyrim to other device just go to steam and make a new game library in for example d and choose d while install skyrim

Edit: There is a line in skyrim.ini i zhink its called use HarddriveCache or some, set it to 1 if you use ssd..

Hope i could help you
