meme supreme Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 I made a skimpy armor mashup replacer for every almost every set in Immersive Armors. I did it, homewer, using parts from various existing sets. CT77's, UNP Spice Gear, Minidresses UNP, Remodeled Armors, Nisetanaka's bikini sets, and parts from IA itself. I was just gonna upload it here with all the original creators listed since that's fine for Bodyslide content, but the file is too big even if I split it. How would it fare on the Nexus? Do I have to get something else to make it upload worthy or is it fine since it's derivative? There are Immersive Armor UUNP and CBBE sets on the Nexus already, so this'd fit in somewhat -- just way skimpier.
darkconsole Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 you need to double check every single one of those mods to check the permissions. ct77 for example has a very restrictive and obscure permission: you may use it to make mash ups but only if its "different enough" you need to be really sure.

That sucks and seems kinda arbitrary. I think they're different enough, but some guy with another perspective could very easily show up and say "nah" and all my shit is done. I'll check the permissions again and see what I can come up with. Actually making 50 or so conversions was easy, uploading them might not be. Feels kind of bad since I was posting progress updates on the UNP thread, anyone who might've liked them might be screwed.
Guest Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Check the permission for each original item. And in case one or two of them are not good to do changes, then think about removing these specific ones, and still distributes your mod. For LL: how big is the final mod? Remember to list ALL the original authors in credits. For Nexus: Remember to list ALL the original authors in credits.
