Sexout working fine in older saves, but not in newer ones

I'm a little baffled by this - the mod works fine in my older saves, but not my newer ones.  Is it possible that I've taken a Perk or picked up an item that conflicts with the Mod somehow?  I can't account for what else it could be.  The error manifests in characters not removing clothes, not touching and  the wrong animations being used.  For example if I request a blowjob, the girl on girl oral sex happens, but fully clothed and not touching.

 

In my older saves, it all works fine, so obviously it's not another mod or setting or anything.

Try just updating all the required resources and NVSE. That fixed things for me when my Sexout functions used to just fail completely.
