I've tried taking the imperial skin texture and placing it in the appropriate place (textures/characters/chanpon/female) and giving it the generic naming convention (footfemale.dds ect) and am still having no luck. Any thoughts?
Poontank Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 From what I've seen in the CS (as I've never used these races before), Chanpon are using the vanilla texture system instead of the typical custom race one. So you'll need sets of four textures per gender for upper and lower body, hands and feet (and the matching face textures, naturally). Unfortunately I don't know any good skin packs for this race in case you don't want to use ugly boring low-res vanilla Imperial files. Maybe try 'Lattamer'? A Chanpon expert like Pajiman certainly could help you more with this. Â

DaSanvich Posted June 26, 2012 Author Posted June 26, 2012 Thanks so far, at least now I know the naming conventions and where it's supposedly getting the textures from. Though even when I replace those, it has no effect in game, I'm essentially just stealing any textures to see if it'll work, but nothing so far will take.
