Faxroux Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 In the past, I got some satisfaction with being able to edit the dialogue of lovers mods, particularly because I enjoyed correcting spelling/grammar errors or sentences not befitting the scenario. It's also kinda fun to make some lines more polite for laughs. It wasn't that difficult to open the mod and its dependencies, set it as the active mod, and go to town in the dialogue area. But now, it's been so long and I'm getting such a consistent error, I'm 100% sure I forgot how to do it properly and I'm doing something wrong. Might be doing everything wrong. Maybe with the attached picture, there can be headway into telling me what I might be doing wrong or instructions how to properly open a lovers mod in the CS to edit the dialogues. I get this error after editing the dialogue (by double clicking on its line in the upper box), then pressing okay. It basically fails to edit. The specific mod I was trying to edit here is the dialogue for AdultPlayPlusSSP, more specifically the prostitution lines towards the bottom of Topics. Additionally, before this error is a warning about missing a script called "call"...
Vaelorian Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Open the CS with OBSE. That should resolve the issue. If it fails, plug in a mic. No, I don't know why the mic thing works, but I recall having issues at some point until I plugged one in so it's worth trying at the very least.

I followed intructions I found telling me to turn an obse shortcut into a cs shortcut by editing the target line in properties. I did that, open it, see the CS screen for a second. Then it crashes. So I learned that enb might conflict with running the CS. Remove enb. Nah, still crashing trying to run through obse. Same with CS extender. I don't have a physical mic, but I'm literally wearing a headset right now that has a mic. Not sure how to offically activate it in the eyes of the CS.
fejeena Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Have you read my yellow Link ? How to start CS or CSE with OBSE . For DVD Oblivion and Steam Oblivion you must have the OBSEloder.exe ( normally you don't install the loader exe if you use Steam Oblivion, but for the CS you need the loader exe. ) If you use CSE do you have all requirements? CSE51 only OBSE20 and .NET Framework CSE63 and 70+ you need OBSE21 Beta+, .NET Framework 4.0+, Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redist., DirectX 9.0c Runtime. I use CSE51, Very stable, almost never crashes.

THANK YOU! I switched to CSE51 and followed the instructions for OBSE21 shortcut, where it needed to be renamed and also add "-Editor -oldinject" as well. That made it start up great. And no more errors editing the dialogues, they save fine. Thanks again for the information.
