Hello, so I decided to put a list of town members here for people to choose in case they wanted to Voice Act for that certain character.

 

The bare bones of this thread, is: choose a person, and have at least* these lines:

 

5 Hellos, 5 goodbyes, Taunts, Battle cries,Favor dialogue starts, favor dialogue starts, favor dialogue agrees, favor dialogue ends. I'd be glad if you could add more random stuff saying "ohh, insert child name here, is my friend! want to buy supplies, talk to my husband, etc you know. More content the better, there can never be too much. I won't regret that =D

 

The main idea of the characters is to be natural, you make up your own lines so that you're more comfortable in saying them. You may also choose more than one character if you think you could get away with several different voices. Just make sure your lines are lore friendly, not necessarily: art thy real, tis be not thou'st. You could if you really want to, but I wouldn't force it.

This is an adult-themed mod, so that's why it's in the adult mods section. I'd like the dialogue to be more adulted themed for adults, more violent, some vulgar, and these are kind of like more civilized barbaric vikings. The family has children too, they are young so they aren't as much of a prick. They wear armor and walk around hoping to be like their parents one day. I'll state which are children and which are not. When I say bro or sister, that means they are siblings of the male and female head. Son and daughter are the only children in this list. When I say child, they are literally, kids or at most pre-teens or at most 15 years old.

But seriously, no point in even trying. I have the shittiest mic in existence and my voice is not fit for voice acting. At all. Sorry, just not gonna happen =P

@xiro8877: So you want background info I was thinking of keeping that classified, but if people want I'll do that to keep them motivated. Though you pretty much know they're like more civilized barbarians, but are more like vikings.

 

@kholdy: Audacity? Or I could put you in a snowy area where there's wind so they can't hear the background noise or somethin. The more the better =D Well, in total there's actually 60 more characters in the opposing triad/family/whatever they are in medieval times. If I don't get enough voice actors, some will just be default npcs with no special sentences which wouldn't be too appealing.

 

So yea, the more the better~!!!!

 

The main thing is that you can make up your own lines! =D

Hell yes. This isn't specifically a time based on the middle ages or so. Look at the witcher 2 saying f*ck all the time, especially in the beginning. I doubt they used it like that even if that word was present back then. Games are the blend of art and technology, they gave us technology, lets make our own art (era in this case). =D

I have a turtle beach mic and I'd like to think I can do a pretty damn good job voice acting certain types of characters. We'll see eventually I suppose. I've tested it and I don't get any static when I run it through Audacity and such so I can do some work on my own voice if need be. Tuning out noise and such if there is any. I'll contact you soon to get an idea of what we're dealing with here. I don't think I'd be able to do a good job unless I had some knowledge of the setting of the character unless all you're wanting is generic shit like me grunting when I get hit with a weapon and shit.

Lol. The personalities are basically what you want to act except for the mentioend ones that have to be acted in a certain way. I explained this is pretty medieval, think of how vikings and their innocent children would talk, the controversy, etc.
