Easy on the eyes lighting

Something as simple as a mod that is easy on your eyes seems a bit tough to narrow down on in a search. It is amazing at the amount of realists out there and that's cool. People want caveman days lighting to get a real feel of what it would really be like. For me, all I want is to not feel like my eyes are bleeding to see things clearly and especially struggle to find the right spot in all of Skyrim to edit my characters appearance. The eyes is the toughest.

There are so many great mods out there, it takes a big chunk of time to get exactly what you want. I don't need "exactly" what I want, but something along the lines of would be great.

Any of you know a mod that clears up the lighting issues? My eyesight isn't the best and Skyrim has such a dark setting. I have my brightness setting up at max. I have like a 15% chance of finding the right time of day with the right lighting and a good camera angle to edit eyecolor or something like it. It's rough. I'd editing an Ashen 117 character and for some reason using "showracemenu" sometimes can cause a CTD. When I do have a chance to edit, I have to make the best of it.

I need help!

There is a mod called 'CLARALUX - More and Brighter Lights' on the nexus: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17605, but it only affects exteriors. There is also 'Face Light', which is a light spell mod, it's pretty cool if you're taking screenshots of your character: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13457

Also, if you're getting a ctd when editing your X117 character, try doing the showracemenu command while in 1st person. It's worked for me so far and I've edited mine A LOT

Frankly I find FXAA-PPI to give the most natural feel to the game. I've tried so many enb's, and besides the fact that enb hurts my framerate a little too much for actual gameplay, effects tend to be distracting (beautiful no doubt, but distracting still).

Id still use enb if I had a video card that could handle it tho :)

Ah same. In the end, I just ended up using Imaginator since all I wanted to do was saturate the game with a little more color. I don't like bloom, letterbox effect, or any of that other bullshit.
