I have plans to replace my entire gaming computer and want to transfer everything with a USB device. I have used the same data since The first day the game came out and it is now 70 gigabytes with 253 plugins. Some mods were installed with nexus mod manager and updated manually without deleting older archive file from the mod manager list and some ini files and mods were edited by me so my skyrim installation is very complicated since I have been adjusting  for years. I also have FNIS installed and working.

Is there a way to transfer everything without needing to start over or break my game?

if you transfer all game and nexus files and keep them in the same drive it should be totally fine

you might have to rerun archive and fnis after but otherwise just do not update nmm until you relaunched the game

And just make sure you keep a backup until it is fully functional =3

*Makes sure to not forget the My Documents Files too

Ok I have my new desktop and I have copied all my nexus mod manager and game files and everything is detected but when I try to run the skyrim script extender I get an error messages that says:

" TESV.exe- Entry Point Not found

The procedure entry point Create DxgIFfactory2 could not be located in

the dynamic link library C\windows\system32\d3d11.dll."

I do not understand what that means.

Can you open skyrim through steam and if the launcher opens while the game start through it?

I have found out that renaming the  "dxgi.dll" file to "dxgi.dll.bak" made the problem go away.

I found the problem and have fixed it i think. Now skyrim is working normal again so far.
