How do get a custom race to use a custom hair pack?

The hair pack is SG268 and this is the race I'm trying to use: http://yscsn.deviantart.com/art/Elizabeth-race-for-Skyrim-568664554

When I load up the mod the race is in the racemenu as an option but it only allows me to select vanilla hairs. Any clue how to fix it?

I've tried using some mods i googled that allow all hair for all races but for some reason they make it so the Elizabeth race can only be bald for some reason.

It needs a race controller built in RaceCompatibility.

Essentially, it's needs to be made compatible with the game. Basically, completely rebuilt so it gets added to all of the formlists that the vanilla and other custom races can access. Namely, the headparts formlist.

If you can secure permissions, I'll rebuild it so it works with everything. I'd try to contact the author myself, but I currently have a lot of my own stuff I'm working on. The rebuild itself is quick. But the mod is over a year old and there's no telling if the author is still supporting it, or is even still modding for Skyrim.

Thanks for the reply!

Would you happen to know if this applies to all hair packs and applying them to custom races? For example if I were to use KS Hair or Apachii, would I need to set it up using a race controller with permission of the author?

I had originally assumed that installing a hair-pack would just apply it to all races due to the fact that I'm pretty inexperienced with modding.

EDIT: Oh wait wait wait, are you referring to the race mods author or the hair mods author? Just wanted to clarify.

Custom hair packs usually can't be accessed by custom races, unless the race mod's author directly edits the headparts formlists which no experienced race modder would ever do. The race controller adds the race to the vanilla headparts formlists dynamically, so multiple custom races can work together without issue. If the race you're trying to use edits those formlists directly (which I'm fairly certain it does since you can access vanilla hairs), then it will only be able to access modded hairs via the aforementioned race controller (which it apparently doesn't have).

Basically, the race mod needs to be rebuilt using RaceCompatibility if you want it to have access to any and all hair mods.
