darksamofsung Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 i recently came back to skyrim and updated a small number of mods and removed a large number of old mods. i started a new game and it was all running perfectly until i enter riverwood now CTD occur if i move too far away from there and attempting to fast travel or wait causes a instant CTD. i have spent hours trying to figure out how to fix it but to no avail. hopefully one of you wonderful people can shed some light on this problem. Harlekin Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 are you sure that you uninstall all mods complete and orrect? what is your current loadorder? are you sure that you have no modconflicts? are you sure that you do not uninstall a mod that is an requirement for an other?* are you sure that you install your mods correct? i ask because i know problems like that after removing many mods - even with an new save. i dont know why but... after removing a tons of Mods i whould remove & reinstall skyrim.. to quick the time - copy the clean skyrim and make a backup copy so you can use a fresh installation in 10-20 minutes if you need one..^^ *not all mod autors build there mods so that skyrim detect missing requirements.
azoth1267 Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Load order will help op, and papyrus logs are mostly useless fyi. Not sure whats going on with what little info you gave. Given the lack of info, the only thing i can say is to make sure that your install is really clean of the old mods (real easy if using MO). Oh, try loading up xedit and see if anything is broken there.
darksamofsung Posted January 14, 2017 Author Posted January 14, 2017 sorry for the late reply i havent had chance to get on in a little while i have attached the load order to see if you guys can see if there is a problem. i tried to be pretty through but i had a lot of mods. was starting to think a fresh install might be the best way.
