Animation Question

I've been using Lovers With PK rev91 AOI 1.2 for a while now and have been wanting to upgrade to 2.8 for the improved animations and functionality, but one (admittedly minor) thing has kept me from doing so; one of the foreplay animations is replaced with that stretching animation set.

 

Does anyone know what files I need to save so I can relace the new animation, or am I dreaming and it's just not that simple?

 

(Also, is there a new version of AOI I should be using? Or should I not be using it at all since I can't seem to find it on this site anymore?)

Not sure but doesn't AOI already contain improved animations ?? You don't need 2.4 it is already built in at least it was like that before.

Could have just been my imagination, but it seemed like 2.8 had a handful of new and more refined animations. I know for sure that 1.2 doesn't have the struggle animation for rape but 2.8 does.

It is more of a get everything in one place type deal. Prophour left the site and took the AIO that he had made with him. You can find him over at Hongfire.

 

Personally I recommend folks use individual plugins rather than installing everything all at once. Just installing what you actually want to play keeps conflicts down. This also allows you to replace files at will as the new versions come out without compromising the OMOD file that you have installed. This of course is completely up to you.

 

As to the animation question: Well it is both simple and not. The simple part is replacing animation itself. That can be done by finding another animation that you do want to use and renaming it to the old file.

 

Remember you will need to replace the ini file and the kf file (sometimes there are multiple kf files depending on the animation involved so pay attention). The way to determine which animation to replace is to hit your console key while that animation is playing in game and noting the animations name as it will be displayed for you. Then exit the game and replace the files.

 

Keep a backup of the replaced files in case you accidentally mess something up. The really hard part may be finding an appropriate animation to play for this.

 

You may need to look at the skeleton that you are using to see if that may be the cause of the animation glitch. I recommend using growlf's universal skeleton the "controllable" version: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/37596

Maybe this is a good place for my question:

 

I want to improve my animations with other objects (semen, table, chair, vibrator etc) but i can't see the connection between the Idleobjects's files and the animations. If anybody have some idea it would be extremely appreciated.

 

Im using 3DSmax 2012 for my work. I also can't see anything useful in NifSkope.

 

Edit: Problem solved. Reason: I've needed to update my animobjects/idlepriority ESps, in case if anybody have the same problem.
