Converting Oldrim textures to Skyrim SE

Is there any guides on how to convert textures over to the special edition? While a good chunk of old textures work, there are still a number that do not, especially landscape mods. I've send plenty of stuff on converting nifs but there seems to be no tutorials on converting textures

Thanks

I just discovered the easy usage of the xtexconv.exe:
copy it and the xg.dll to the folder containing the dds files, drop all the dds files on the xtexconv.exe and you are done. No need for a batch file.

I had a lovely armor (Warglaives and Silverlight Armor) I wanted for my Skyrim SE and it didn't work even after saving the esp file, but the textures were non existant in the game. Now after applying this easy conversion, the textures look as beautiful as they should.
