SIMS 3 HAIR CC PROBLEM!

Since i can't seem to find a solution since most of them are for the sims 4.

My CC hairs have started to do this black streak thing anytime i have a hair color other than black, this morning i had dyed my sims hair blue and for once it didn't do it, but when i decided to put her hair up in a ball it started again! I've never had this problem before so i don't know how to handle it, and people keep telling me to go to laptop mode and turn it off but i AM NOT PLAYING ON A LAPTOP i'm playing on a pc and i looked and looked and that solution is probably for the sims 4 players. Please help me! This is driving me nuts! This happens with ALL HAIR COLORS EXCEPT Black because obv it's black you can't tell the glitch. It's fine when it's in CAS but once i leave it, it fucks up.

Sims 3 Hairs have a lot of files within them as well as the texture. They have a halo file and a control file. Looks like one of those is either missing or incorrect to the hair textures.

Some hairs (from Skysims etc.) only work when Sim Detail is set to Very High, maybe that's the problem?
