Pretty much any of these Skyrim/fallout objects are NIF files, but they're just normal meshes that can be converted to STL files with the right plugins. You'll need either 3DS max, or Blender. Both can import and export a wide variety of file types.

Thanks for the quick reply. but how would you exportbthem in a pose? i understand lets say handcuffs are an object but how would the model and cuffs both be exported as the same model?

So you'd want the character in this too? A figure wearing this gear?

Or just the gear, empty, but in a position as if it's being worn?

So, you can load a skeleton, body, and gear into 3DS max, (and probably blender too.) from there, you can "pose" the skeleton. (also look up poser rigs.)

When done right, the body and gear move with the skeleton.

This would allow you to have all the pieces together in one file when you export the scene to an STL file.

Fair warning, this has a pretty big learning curve.

So i am able to import the models to blender like collar or cuffs and they are in the propper spot but i still have to figure out how to pose the model or figure with the device and can not seem to find the posing option in blender :(

You have to import the body with a skeleton.

Then, you can manually select the skeleton bones and move them--everything else should follow.

Okay so i am most likely not importing a skeleton then just the model. Thank you i will figure this out lol

All clothing has at least one bone attached to it--and some clothing has a full skeleton.

When you import clothing into a modeling program like 3ds max or blender, odds are there's a checkbox to import the object's skeleton data along with it.
