Guest Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Lately no matter what I do, starting new games or disabling vampire mods, I am constantly doing some sort of bat attack that does not do any damage but it makes a loud noise and a animation on the enemy. I for the life of my can not find what it causing it and would absolutely love it if anyone could help me. LibertyPrime Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Maybe your character is slowly turning into Negan. Also, you have a bunch of mods tagged with 'vampire' in them. Make sure their place in the load order is correct. LOOT is a must but it's not a perfect fit. Most of the times, you'll have to manually adjust some mods until you see the results. Also, a Bashed/Merged patches should be essential for a load order that big. You most likely have a bug related to one of your vampire mods though, so there's a chance that doing all of the above won't help. In that case, start by disabling every mod that modifies vampires in any way, one by one (or all of them if you really wanna be sure). Once you figure out which is causing it, try checking its MCM menu, and if that doesn't work, as a last resort, check out the mod's description page. It's bound to have at least ONE person with the same issue as yours. Then, you can report your problem to the author and if he's not one of those who go "ARHGGHBHABLBLAHR THIS MOD IS PERFECT 'TIS IMPOSSIBLE A BUG IS INCLUDED", he should help.
kplh Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 I had the same exact problem, it is "Daedric Chainmail Glow.esp", it edits player character (ref 7) to add magic effect on every attack for some reason. I deleted the change in TES5Edit and it is fixed now.
