Unique Character Playthroughs

So I'm looking for a unique idea for a new playthrough. I'd like to hear any cool ideas you guys use for your characters, stuff like rationalization,

backstory of your character, etc. I've had Skyrim since it's been out, so the base content is exhausted for me and I feel like I've tackled every major

mod out there, so I guess I'm looking for a character that doesn't give a shit about major guilds or main story(which is like most of the content, I

know, but still.) I'm just wondering if anyone else feels this way and just kinda runs around Skyrim doing their own thing entirely.  Also, I am aware of

FudgeMuppet and I use their Fallout 4 Builds pretty frequently, but I can't really get interested in their Skyrim builds for whatever reason.

To sort of illustrate my point better, I'll list some "builds" I've done with this general attitude, maybe someone will base a new game off of one of them.

First off are the kinda bland ones, barely any "LoversLab content" with these ones.

Female Orc Hunter: Used Frostfall and Campfire, as well as Hunterborn and iNeed. Ran around in Skaal fur armor, used bone bow and arrows from Hunterborn, probably talked to like 4 NPC's in total. Mostly set up camp outside bandit forts, ate some charred fox or whatever, made some poisons, and then sneaked in at night and picked them off. Also used Namira's Goat and ate some of them afterwards. Savage/Barbarian sort of type.

Male Dunmer Ronin: Used a samurai armor mod and a katana weapon pack. Ran around a lot with this one too, cutting down people who earned it with a katana. I used that message board mod to find miscellaneous fetch/rescue quests and did those a lot. Essentially just a wandering ronin, picking up jobs wherever, probably could have joined the companions and rationalized it pretty well, don't remember why I didn't, something about the werewolves I think.

Now these next ones get sort of interesting, and I started making weird shit up.

Hermaphrodite Dunmer ArchmageUsed a few mods for the hermaphrodite part, essentially this was just a destruction/alteration mage build with a neutral good sort of morality. This build actually did some quests and shit, became Archmage of Winterhold. Adventured mainly with Jenassa and used Amorous Adventures to rationalize romance with her. Eventually ended up roleplaying her descent into madness after Solstheim events with Hermaeus Mora and whatnot. Ended up having her kill Jenassa, got an Apocrypha home mod, lived there and kept a few slaves there with Display Model that just pumped out Soul Gems from Soul Gem Oven III.

Altmer Male Necro(phile)mancer: For this one I used the True Necromancy mod a lot, as well as FunnyBizzness's animations for the (phile) part of the build. Ran around killing whoever was weak enough or alone; found the strongest body, carried it back to the lair, and used TN to raise undead thralls. Before and after the resurrection there was also some guro shit in there somewhere. Called this build Mannimarco; part of his story is that he believed he was Mannimarco reincarnated. Overall this dude was awkward and generally stayed away from towns and settlements, only visiting to kill and desecrate the corpse of someone who caught his eye.

Female Bosmer Wildling: Probably not the most original thing, but this build was pretty similar to the Orc one. Ran around killing civilized weaklings, you know, as you do. Used a mod called Imperious: Races of Skyrim, which lets you eat corpses as a Bosmer because of the Green Pact and stuff, and you get a little buff. Little twist on this one, used Untamed to lead a pack of wolves across the woods of Falkreath and Riften, pretty fun stuff, that mod. Did not do quests, did not talk to NPC's, just hunted and ate them.

Female Altmer CyborgAltmer in game, but the story is that she was a dwarven experiment, where they removed her limbs and put mechanical augments in place, she has no memory of this whatsoever. For this I used the Dwarven Bikini mod, although I was largely disappointed with the sort of skimpiness it had. Playstyle here was illusion, destruction, and one-handed. The roleplaying was a naive but dangerous, out of place and confused she-mer. I still haven't decided what race she is exactly, sort of leaning toward falmer, before they got gross, of course.

I intended to have a serious take on the cyborg thing, and dwarven bikini has the best cyborg aesthetic I've seen, completely replacing the arms and legs with mechanical dwemer appendages. However the piece that does this replacement takes the chest slot, meaning the cyborg is naked, so my only option was to wear the bikini parts in addition to the cyborg limbs. Shit still bothers me, if anyone knows how to make a relatively "non-slutty" cyborg character, please share.

These are the kind of things I'm looking for, I'm really curious to see what kind of build you guys have, and what mods you use as foundations for the character. Also what kind of mods take up most of your time? As in, is there a mod that "keeps on giving" so to speak.

I won't be able to remember most of my builds right now, but I can fill in some of what I've done

Werewolf version of your wilding idea, though with mods to make me not a kill on sight and with longer shifting time.  Generally run around the Whiterun plains chasing deer, or raiding various larger bandit camps and forts for havoc and chaos.

A couple different kinds of naked mage runs.  One just plain mage with no clothing armor or weapons, just spells. Heavy on enchanting on jewelry with a few mods for more piercings (ear, navel, etc). A lot of illusion and destruction instead of alteration, making use of quiet casting, stealth ambush shots, runes, and a mod with extra poison spells.  Other naked mage was less mage and more sniper rogue with illusion and conjuration for bound bow.

Vampire run of the Dark Brotherhood quests, trying to bite everyone I needed to kill.

With Unbound, did a non dragonborn run trying to collect all of the shouts that were available.

Tried the message board myself, but after a couple of "kill monster" type quests sent me into quest locked dungeons I decided it needed more work (Kill the vampire... in Dimhollow.  Uh huh. )

One thing I'd like to find (since I'm sure I cannot make) is a mod that would let you find and help move NPCs from one place to another for work or life.  The various mills that need work, the Priestess of Arkay all alone in Riften, places where wives or husbands ran off or were killed off leaving families short handed on farms or mills... etc.

I like that last idea, being some sort of caravan guard or hired mobile protection would be pretty cool, maybe being able to defend them from bandits (or letting the bandits have them for a price...) Also naked mage is something to consider, thanks for the reply.

I don't usually create 'builds' for myself but I'm currently playing myself in skyrim, i made my character look like me and every decision i make including who to talk to and what direction I travel I make based on what I would do in RL. It's been turning out unexpectedly and has been an interesting journey into being honest with myself. It is also unexpectedly hard to turn off my gamer-brain and not loot the super expensive magical items from bodies, because real me, doesn't loot dead bodies.

Naked mage has a few options, depending if you're going adult content or not. Usually not compatible with environmental or needs based plays (though that would be something else you could try... similar to the wilding play, but just as focused on finding food as killing random bandits.  mods that do not allow you to freely pick crops but make it theft can also add challenges to living in the wild)

I wasn't thinking of caravan guard though on the last idea.  Not an escort quest kind of thing.  More like the Mara's divine quests talking to people, finding out what/who they need, then bringing them together.

There are two lumber mill owners, sisters, in Kynesgrove working in the mine because they can't cut the timber in a sacred grove. Heartwood mill has a mother and son with a quest to find the missing father who left to sell lumber to a group that came by but hasn't come back. She thinks he left and hooked up with another woman. Finding someone else to help her run her mill is what I had in mind. A few other lumber mills are short handed, miners always are willing to buy your ore, are they willing to hire on more people? The beggars in towns usually are invalids and cannot work but a mod could add in other people who lost homes to dragons, bandits or other disasters, like a random world encounter of a farmer and his wife walking down the road. You can give them 5g if you meet them... but if they were moved to a city, you could find and recruit them for someone else.

The mod Helgen Reborn does a little of this, but mostly just to get soldiers. I'd kinda like a map wide puzzle of refuge relocation.

(will probably need scripting)

Female Imperial (or Breton). You are a newly minted Knight of the Nine Eight and you have come north (or east) to do battle with the enemies of the empire.

Unfortunately, daddy being an overprotective type has locked you in a chastity belt and has sent the key to his old legion buddy General Tullius. He might give you the key, but you'll probably have to join the legion and complete his campaign. On the other hand, you could join the stormcloaks and take it from his corpse.

I've just started out on a fairy/pixie character, using a Breton at full size. Animated Fairy Wings, Real Flying (with the dragon wing nif deleted so the wings included in that mod are invisible and she appears to fly with the fairy wings) and Fairylicious for an outfit consisting of only leaves and strings. Also using One With Nature to make most wildlife friendly or allied, so rabbits and foxes etc don't flee from her and some of the nasties don't attack unless she does first. I'm restricting her to magic only. It's still early days but it's fun so far.

Most of my other games tend to revolve around bondage because, well... bondage is a beautiful, wondrous thing that deserves to be celebrated. I had a dominant character who went around seducing women with Amorous Adventures then enslaving them and adding them to a living art collection with I'll Take The Display Model. Plus a sub who ended up being owned by her wife thanks to Captured Dreams' chaste spouse system. No doubt my fairy will get collared soon enough. I'm interested to see what happens when a devious plug starts vibrating a few hundred feet up.
