Executaball Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 As title suggests. I've migrated from NMM to MO and wish to uninstall and reinstall Skyrim. Can I do this without messing up the mods? I mean since the mods are all with MO it should be fine right? Though will a complete uninstall mess with other stuff? So my plan is to manually delete the data folders and tell Steam to do a verify integrity update. Anyone done this before? Any information would be helpful, thanks!
fallenmystic Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Definitely you can I think it could be the most compelling reason why someone should choose MO, as it allows one to reinstall the base game, mods, or changing the mod order at will without ever worrying about seriously mess up anything.
Guest SwiftDeathSK Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Yup, MO basically "injects" the mods into the game, your Skyrim folder is actually untouched. MO launches a virtual environment that injects your mods and settings into Skyrim, if my knowledge is correct. All of your mods, saves, and settings files are stored in the Mod Organizer folder, not your Skyrim folder.
