Is dlsite.com is a reliable website?

I wanted to know something about dlsite.com website, there's a game who interesting me a lot but i don't know how this website working and if something is required to make the games working.

 

Has anyone ever bought anything on this website?.

I once needed "set local to japanese", because there were filenames with said characters, besides that, no problem.

It's pretty much a official site (next to getchu, although that one's more for VNs) that authors link to. I've never used it, but yes, it's like a Steam of japanese porn games (and videos, comics, etc).

They usually have a trial version so you can see if you can run the game, and the system requirements for games are listed in the lower part of the page.

I've bought and downloaded a lot of their games and had no problems with them, you get links to download the games right a way when your transaction have been confirmed.

 

I had to turn on Japanese Unicode in windows to get most games to work, since the majority of games are in Japanese, but I think you can also get some in English now on the site.
