Kargrin Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Hello all, I wanted to ask about the conversion of .mesh files into .obj. I know that Bodyslide can use and work with .obj and .fbx files, but i tried to export to .obj from another mesh file (.mesh extension). Blender can open it, but when i try to work the model in bodyslide it displays an explosion of pixels. Is there any way i can make the .obj converted from a .mesh useable by Bodyslide? (I don't have any 3d program besides Blender by the way) -To be more specific, i was trying to convert a XNA Lara mesh file (using it to export the scene as .obj). Any help/idea is welcome.
sashalag Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Are you trying to load the .obj file directly into Outfit Studio? I think that won´t work, you need to load a reference file (like the CBBE body), then import the .obj file over it (choosing the CBBE name in the right list, right click on it, then Import > obj If you´re already doing that, then I don´t know, my knowledge about OS and converting meshes is limited.
