[fixed] About bodyslide and the various bodies

Yo! So i'm playing with fill her up and i've replaced all the vanilla armors with Chronotrigger's Remodeled armor for CBBE HDT because of its innate ability to use the belly node.

been using this setup for a bit more than a year now but it just occurred to be that bodyslide exists and can be used, so no i'm looking into it. and i'm very confused.

My default body is CBBE curvy and i use XPMSE as you'd expect, however i've been looking for a guide on how to actually do it and i can up with 2 noteworthy results:

https://vimeo.com/82566369 (a video explaining how to copy the belly node to your armor using pregnancy scaling body, it's also 3 years old. i did exactly what the video said a few times with different armors without saving anything, just for practice because at the time of trying (and writing this) i'm sleep deprived. Anyway, i began wondering about wether PSB would behave very differently from from my regular TBBP enabled body so i looked on, after having figured out the basic functions of outfit studio.

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/37185-skyrim-tutorial-easy-way-to-add-a-belly-node-to-a-body-mesh/ (this was the next resource i found, stating that you can use  CBBE HDT as a reference, making PSB redundant. While this being a step closer to what i think i need, i realized i don't very well know a lot about the difference between HDT and TBBP, but i suppose i don't need to for this specific thing i want to do.

I should mention: the armours i'm trying to make pregnancy scaleable are the ones from Hothtrooper's immersive armors

So now i'm at this point: asking you these questions, hoping to use you as my 3rd source of help:

Can i put the belly scale node from CBBE HDT body on the CBBE TBBP body?

         How do i do it?

         Is this even neccesary?

Will this mess anything up somehow?

are the methods in the video and that thread still up to date?

You're asking the same kind of questions I was wondering about not so long ago.

No expert, but I have everything working in game, so that's got to count for something i guess.

TBBP vs HDT.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I put together, TBBP was animation based needing a different skel/rig, whereas HDT are NiOnodes on what can be a more basic skeleton rig.  HDT works great with XPMSE.  HDT does it's own random physics thingys without having to be animated.

Use UUNP special myself.  But same ideas should apply.

Go into Outfit Studio, and make sure you have bone NPC Belly.  If not you need to add.

Tip:  Gamefevers Nexus BSL outfits all have preggo enabled.  Grab an outfit like Hunting Grounds and check it out, even if it's UUNP so you can see how it looks in OS, because they're ready to go.

Tilt your character angled sideways in OS, and click on the 3 belly sliders to edit them (pregnancy, big belly and belly.)  You'll see what the morph looks like for NPC belly bone.
