Mod suggestions for newbie

Hello, i am fairly new to modding sims 3 and i am really interested in using kinky world but i do not know where to start.

Can someone help me out with what textures i should be using for the face and body and also if there are any mods that will make my game look better? 

Maybe make it so it looks like one of mike24's animations. Like this one.
