t.ara Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Hi, I Need a workaround for clothing inside the CK, the clothing is still available, but I want them to be within the mod. 1. I have over 10 npc. 2. I have the clothing...(meshes and textures) ARE READY INSIDE FOLDERS 3. I want to get that clothing as "Outfits" within the mod and fixed to the NPC 4. I Need an exactly plan, what to do inside CK to get this working....to have Access to outfits for the characters best would be, with pics from screen.... I could not find this problem solved anywhere...this could be helpful for lot of users, who want to make NPC´s with customized, BUT ready DONE clothing...!!
SassaAria Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 ... You might find someone who will take the larger bit of time to put such a tutorial together. Or maybe such a resource exists. But maybe not. Not trying to be funny or cute here, but there is an alternative. Could start by loading up any follower or NPC mods that you like and downloaded. They would serve as a type of tutorial. (Suggest using Tes5edit first to see what's in that mod and CK to do more things) Change an outfit, see what happens in game. Add an npc, see what happens. If you break something, reinstall orig mod, and try again. It does take more time this way, but it can be worth it.
t.ara Posted October 30, 2016 Author Posted October 30, 2016 Thanks for reading so far, all the stand alone followers have the Outfit normally as custom, or picked from different clothes mods, it shouldn´t be so hard to get this workaround... ...I want no replacer, new clothing in folders shall come within the mod... if not possible, my ladies will come vanilla-armored... ... t.ara Posted October 31, 2016 Author Posted October 31, 2016 Oh, yeah! I thought we have some people around here, who can easily point me the way...it can´t be too difficult...,that clothing Job, The Problem is the way, the clothing is put together inside the CK, it´s absolutely crazy...an example from stand alone follower could not help me out so far. Anyway thank you, SassiaAria!
t.ara Posted November 1, 2016 Author Posted November 1, 2016 Hello, woohoo! I did it by myself, I got it, ...I will post this for all interested skyrimer!!! 0. Create two Folders , one in mesh, and other one in textures, inside your mod. 1. Create textures from the clothes u want. (CK-inside)...the *.dds file above (on top), diffuse), and the *_n.dds file on second Position (is shining transparent-pinky), normal glossy 2. Create Armor-Add-Ons, mine was done for female only, Biped model and First Person have to be filled out by SAME nif, the *_1.nif of that clothes is needed. mark the right Biped Objects (Clothing Slots)...take some clothes, that are nearly like yours and duplicate them, then rename and save them. 3. Create the Armor: Again a Name and weight then, value for Shopping them and then the world object: Something *.nif, that can be a static dummy to recognize the clothing in the game...can also be a box with a pic of the clothing of it...most of the time, the NIF has a "go" -shorty in it...for example "armbinder_go.nif"...load that nifs for male and female then. 4. Go to Outfits under Items (CK) and click right for making a new one...give a Name and then search under armour your clothes you made before. 5. Chose the new Outfit in the NPC -creation-window, NPC-EDIT...INVENTORY and then YOU ARE DONE... P.S.: some pics for visual Support:-) P.S.: HIGH HEELS will come next days, it may be a "spell" to use, that give the NPC a new height off ground. I´ll Keep an eye on that, soon.
